Meaning one has to get up early in the morning in the ‘Brahma Muhurtha.’
Approximately around 3:45 AM or at the max between 5-6 AM.
Waking up early has 9 potential benefits:
Improves sleep quality,
Increases productivity,
Improves mental health,
Lowers anxiety and depression,
Tends to have more energy,
High motivation to tackle tasks,
Gives more uninterrupted time
Regulates mood &
Improves overall well-being.
But how can you make the transition to an earlier wake-up time?
Here are 5 strategies you can try to get up early:
Gradually adjust your wake-up time:
Instead of trying to wake up an hour earlier all at once, try moving your wake-up time back by 15-30 minutes each day until you reach your desired wake-up time. This will help your body adjust gradually to the new schedule.
Make sure you are getting enough sleep:
Waking up early won't do you any good if you're not getting enough sleep at night. Make sure you are getting 7-8 hours of sleep each night to ensure you wake up feeling rested.
Create a consistent sleep schedule:
Going to bed and waking up at the same time each day can help regulate your body's internal clock, making it easier to wake up early and feel rested.
Use natural light to your advantage:
Exposure to natural light can help regulate your sleep-wake cycle, so try to get outside in the morning if you have trouble waking up in the dark.
Establish a morning routine:
Having a consistent morning routine can help you start your day on the right foot and make it easier to get up early. Consider incorporating activities like exercise, meditation, or reading into your morning routine to help you feel energized and focused.
