ABCDE ~ To Avoid Dental Health-Related Problems:

A - Avoid Sugary Foods & Drinks:

Sugary foods and drinks can lead to tooth decay and other dental problems.

Try to limit your intake of sweets, soft drinks, and other sugary treats.

B - Balanced Diet (Eat a healthy diet):

Eating a diet rich in fresh fruits & vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein can help promote overall health, including dental health.

C - Chew on Neem sticks:

Chewing on neem sticks can help remove plaque and prevent bad breath.

Look for toothpaste made with natural ingredients like neem, clove, and peppermint, which have antimicrobial properties that can help prevent dental problems.

D - Daily Hygiene Practices:

Danta Dhawana ( Brushing) - Ayurveda insists on the use of herbal brushes, approximately nine inches long and the thickness of one's little finger.

Jivha Lekhana (Tongue Scrapping): It is ideal to use gold, silver, copper, stainless steel for the scrapping of the tongue. Tongue scrapping stimulates the reflex points of the tongue.

E - Enrich Oral health through Oil Pulling:

Gandusha or Kavalagraha, as called in Ayurveda is simply known as Oil pulling, Oil Swishing or Gargling.

It is an ancient Ayurvedic practice that helps remove toxins from the body.

Simply swish 1-2 tablespoons of oil in your mouth for 10-20 minutes, then spit it out.
